A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Political Science, Carter began his career in labor advocacy, serving as a Union Steward and Organizer with AFSCME Local 3800. He later honed his legal skills at the ABA-accredited Paralegal Program at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated with honors.
Carter’s commitment to justice is reflected in his volunteer work with the Employee Rights Center of San Diego and the San Diego Clean Slate Clinic, as well as his internship in a law firm focused on workplace discrimination and retaliation cases.
